Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
12 oz cheese tortellini
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook tortellini according to package instructions, then drain.
Season steak cubes generously with salt, pepper, and half of the smoked paprika.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak cubes until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes, then remove from pan.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic, remaining paprika, and Dijon mustard.
Whisk in the heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice until the sauce is smooth.
Return the steak bites to the pan, add the cooked tortellini, and toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
Top with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Ensure the steak is dry before searing to achieve a better crust. You can substitute the sirloin with ribeye for extra tenderness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
